Demantra Date Series Display Format Issues: Worksheets Display MM/DD/YYYY Instead of DD/MM/YYYY Format (Doc ID 2020994.1)

On :  12.2.3 version, Worksheet

Customer is trying to display format of all date Series as  DD/MM/YYYY . Even if customer is changing  the display format in series configuration it still reflects MM/DD/YYYY in worksheets.

To see the series date format as DD/MM/YYYY .

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Business Modeler
  2. Navigate to Configuration >> Configure Series
  3. Create a series with Display Format  as  DD/MM/YYYY
  4. Change the bellow parameters : format.dates.shortFormat to dd-MM-yy  and format.dates.longFormat to dd-MM-yy hh:mm:ss
  5. On the client machine, navigate to Control Panel -> Region and Settings -> Formats -> Change the format to required one(say if you want dd/mm/yyyy, you can select english(UK) -> Apply
  6. Restart the application server
  7. Add the series in some worksheet and check the worksheet results / display format

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot have the expected display format in the worksheets.
