The Threads Number 2 And 13 Of The Write Off Process Monitor (WPM) Batch Are Taking Long Time To Complete In Customer Care & Billing (CCB) (Doc ID 2021069.1)

Last updated on MAY 19, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.3.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The batches are run over 2 apps nodes within a clustered thread pool.
On each of these 2 nodes there are 4 thread pools running in parallel which can run 8 threads each.
That means each node can support 4*8=32 threads, so both nodes support 32*2=64 threads as maximum threads count limit for any batch.
Presently we are running WPM batch with 32 threads count.
When running the WPM batch, there are two threads (2 and 13) that are taking longer time to complete compared to the other ones.
Is it possible to equalize the time required by the WPM threads processing?
