Retail Analytics Does Not Handle Sales For Non-Orderable Items (Doc ID 2022887.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 17, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Analytics - Version 14.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Sales transactions for non-orderable items are not loaded into Retail Analytics (RA) W_RTL_SLS_TRX_IT_LC_DY_FS and W_RTL_SLS_TRX_IT_LC_DY_F tables. Non-orderable items do not have a supplier assigned to them, and the interface SDE_RetailSalesTransactionFact_Item is looking for relationship in the ITEM_SUPPLIER table.

Steps To Recreate:

1. Load one set of sale transaction data into Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) for a Non-Orderable item.
2. Run the SDE for sales transaction in RA (slsiltsde.ksh).
3. Note that the sales data will be loaded in the table W_RTL_SLS_TRX_TMP but not in the table W_RTL_SLS_TRX_IT_LC_DY_FS.
