Importing Users To Usergroups Not Functioning

On : 188.8.131.52 version, Web client (PC)
When trying to import a list of user names to an User Group, the import log shows number of users updated/rejected successfully, but when checked in the user group , none of the users were actually updated in the User group.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into webclient
2) Click import. The source file should have atleast 1 inactive user.
