Reboot Required After Applying ORS v2.2.0.1 Patch For Update To Take Effect (Doc ID 2024989.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 03, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Real-Time Scheduler - Version 2.2.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying the patch SP1 in perf the app still shows V2.2.0.0 instead of V2.2.0.1. Once the server was up and tried to browse the application it is still pointing to the older version. The new features like the Speed time profile is also not seen hence looks like it is not just the label but applications might not be deployed correctly.  The only difference in the way the patch has been applied in QA and perf is when the DB patch was applies it gave an End of File error in perf and had to apply the DB patch again which was successful.
