Using Outlook Connector, Subscription to shared calendars in MS-Outlook is not intuitive. You have to start from the "Mail" tab, expand "Shared Calendars" folder from the folders list and then it will list all the subscribed calendars. After selecting the calendars you want to show, you've got to get back to the "Calendar" tab.
If you subscribe incorrectly, the Calendars will be listed under "Shared Calendars" instead of under under "My Calendars". And, when the user tries to view those calendars, the events for the calendar are shown as "Busy" although the calendar is publicly readable.
If the user right-click's on the calendar to try and display the properties, the following error is seen:
"Cannot display the folder properties. The folder may have been deleted or
the server where the folder is stored may be unavailable. Cannot display
folder properties. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this
