Fatal Exception While Importing User Group When Blank Data Action Is Set to Override (Doc ID 2029760.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import User Group when Blank Data Action is set to Overwrite, below error occurs:

Fatal Exception occured null


Steps
The issue can be reproduced by will by following below steps:

  1. Login to Java Client, and create user groups:
    imptestG1
    imptestG2
  2. Login to Web Client
  3. Goto Tools > Import
  4. Goto Preferences, and make sure Blank Data Action is set to "Override" which is default
  5. Select test_usergroup.xls for files to import
  6. Select User Group > User Group only for the objects to import
  7. Select ImpUserGroupMapFile.xml for the map file to import
  8. Run Import
