Data Extract batch jobs fail in INCREMENTAL mode (after upgrading from OC 4.6.x to 5.x.x). (Doc ID 2029953.1)

Symptoms

i.
Some Data Extract batch jobs fail in INCREMENTAL mode (after upgrading from OC 4.6.x to 5.x.x).


ii.
The same Data Extract batch job succeeds in FULL mode after which INCREMENTAL mode jobs start to work.


iii.
The following error appears in the Data Extract 'out' file when debug is enabled:

Executing: Connect 'STUDY_NAME'$CURRENT
Warning: Could not connect user 'STUDY_NAME'$CURRENT, will try again after resetting password.
ERR level 1
connect_as_user
Error setting role for 'STUDY_NAME'$CURRENT
ERR level 1
maintain_account
Error when calling connect_as_user
Connect prvl user.
Connected to ORACLE as user [OPS$USER]/@SID.
Connected to ORACLE as user RXC_MAA.
rxcvbcmn_pc_stmt_01 executed successfully.
RXCDXBVB EXIT WITH FAILURE
