When Patching IM9 it Shows "/bin/cut: Invalid Byte, Character Or Field List" (Doc ID 2030430.1)

Symptoms

When patching Instant Messaging, by running "commpkg upgrade", to version 9.0.2.7.0 on Linux, the following error occurs:
