When Onhand Has Expiration Date Outside Plan Horizon Sales Order Is Not Pegged (Doc ID 2031346.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 18, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4.1 version, Constrained without detailed scheduling planning

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Sales Order demand is unpegged to supply when on hand supply has expiration date outside plan horizon
Example:
1. Sales Order with demand date = '01-MAR-2015'
2. On Hand Expiration date = '01-MAY-2017'
3. Plan horizon till March-2017.
4. If we check Sales Order demand, it says "pegging not calculated for ..."

Because of this, it gives the Planner exception messages: "demand quantity is not satisfied".

For the same scenario:
If expiration date of On hand supply = 21-FEB-2017, pegging is correct and it shows the Sales Order has On hand pegged to it.
