Timing of safety stock demands using safety stock lead time

We are testing MSO: Use Safety Lead Time and are getting results that seem strange when MSC: Split Planned Order to perform safety stock pegging = Yes

The offset dates based on the safety stock lead time are correct, but ASCP seems to be making “fractional splits” of planned supplies where none should be required.

ASCP seems to be leaving a fractional safety stock demand on June 5, which is where the forecast demand resides.
We believe the problem is that the fractional safety stock demand was not offset by the safety stock lead time. This in turn generated a fractional planned supply.
Expect non-fractional planned orders

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the ECC Constrained Plan
2. Note the results shown in the ASCP Workbench
