Rich Text Documents Are Printed Too Often (Doc ID 2034292.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process - Version 6.1.1.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Agile PLM for process 6.1.1.5, GSM printing
Find that if a specification is printed with the default (out of the box) print template and more than one spec is assigned that contains a rich text section which are all clicked for printing, the rich text sections are printed multiple times (as many times as assigned specs are selected for printing).

Expected Behavior:
============
Every rich text section should be printed only once for the specification it belongs to

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
====================================
1. Create a specification (for example a material spec) that has at least two specs assigned that have rich text documents assigned. If the main document contains a rich text document it is enough to have only one spec with a rich text document assigned
2. Open the spec and click the print icon.
3. In the print selection window select "Default" print template and click the check mark for the assigned specs that have associated rich text documents and check mark the rick text documents themselves as well that they all get printed.
4. Then click the print button in the top right
=> The created PDF contains all the rich text sections as many times as number of specs with rich text are selected for printing. So it seems as if the rich text documents were assigned to all specs.
