Hierarchy Filter Created After Installing OFSAAI 7.3.5 Does Not Reference the Correct Level (Doc ID 2034513.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications Infrastructure - Version 7.3.5.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

Symptoms

After installing Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure 7.3.5, when you create a Hierarchy Filter by selecting a node level value, the level value is saved as HIERARCHY_LEVEL = 0 in the REV_HIERARCHY_FILTER table.  Below is an example of the data from REV_HIERARCHY_FILTER:

SYS_ID_NUM HIERARCHY_SYS_ID HIERARCHY_LEVEL LEAF_NODE
205015 204958 0 2000000

You expect the HIERARCHY_LEVEL to contain the Level value (ex. 2) where the node exists in the hierarchy.
