Convergence 3 Upgrade Error - /opt/SUNWdsee/dsee6/bin/ldapsearch: No such file or directory (Doc ID 2035755.1)

Symptoms

Upgrading to Convergence 3.0.1 depends on the installation file <CONVERGENCE_3.0.0.1_INSTALL_DIR>/iwc/lib/ldapsearch.  It does not try to use the old DSEE 6.x packages for ldapsearch, like previous versions did.

The installer shows the following error:

Note, that it is also strange to see the message "Please make sure directory server <HOSTNAME> is up and running.", as well, when in fact, the Directory Server is up and running.

Changes

Originally had Convergence 3.0.0.1.0 and Messaging Server 8.0 installed and then upgraded Convergence to 3.0.1.0.0.
