Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 2.0 to 3.0 [Release 2.0 to 3.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Creating a Calendar event from a group of contacts does not work if the calendar was not loaded previously.

From the Address Book, right click on a group of contacts, choose "Invite to Event".  If the calendar had not been previously opened, then the resulting action is Convergence opens the calendar and does nothing with the invitation

If you do it a second time, it will work as you have now accessed the calendar. Also, if you load the Calendar first, the problem will not be experienced.

This is causing confusion for our end users and an increase in Help Desk calls.
