ORA-06502 Error Occurs Upon Creating a Scheduled Replenishment Update for Alphanumeric Item Number

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, the following error is received when trying to create Scheduled Replenishment Update information for an item with alphanumeric characters:

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. From rtkstkrt, select Items > Replenishment > Replenishment Scheduled Update.
  2. Select "Action" as "New".
  3. Select "Enter As" as "Item".
  4. Enter an item with alphanumeric characters.
  5. Click OK.  The "Replenishment Attribute Update" (replattr) form is opened.
  6. Select "Group Type" as "Store" and enter a store ID for the "Store" field.
  7. Select "Stock Category" as "Warehouse Stocked", "Order Control" as "Automatic".
  8. Enter "Source WH" information.
  9. Select "Replenishment Method" as "Min/Max", enter "Minimum Stock" = 1,"Maximum Stock" = 3 and "Increment Percent" = 100.
  10. Select "Review Cycle" as "Every Day".
  11. Fill in "Activate Date", "Deactivate Date", "Presentation Stock", "Demo Stock", "Warehouse to Location" fields.  
  12. Click OK.  The error "ORA-06502: numeric or value error" is received.
