System Default Behavior For Checkboxes On HTML Forms (Doc ID 2040270.1)

If I declare a checkbox control on an html form in the MWM application and DON'T use any java script to control what happens to the data that is saved when the user clicks or doesn't click the checkbox I seem to see the following values written into the database once the form is completed:

On the Dispatcher workstation form

Control state     Data saved in database
----------------   ------------------------------
Checked           true
Unchecked        false

Now on the MCP (embedded browser)
Control state     Data saved in database
----------------   ------------------------------
Checked           True
Unchecked        false

Notice that when I declare and use the same type of control on the MCP "True" (Captial "T") is saved into the database instead of "true" which is what happens if I execute the same form on the dispatcher workstation (not an embedded browser).

Is there any way to fix this inconsistency other than to write a java script to correct the data before it gets saved to the database ?
