Symptoms

Enterprise Manager fails to retrieve LDAP groups when Weblogic 10.3.6 is configured to use secure LDAP

The error occurs when attempting to add/search for a user or role while configuring
"EM > Application Policies > Edit Application Grant > Add Principal"

Enterprise Manager functions properly and retrieves users and groups when using non-ssl with port 389. Weblogic 10.3.6 functions properly when using secure LDAP over 636.

Error Message:Failed to retrieve roles.
Operations error: entity= *******************search mesg=Protocol Error LDAP Error 2 : simple bind failed: adhost.domain.net:636
