Business Process Status Not Updating When Attempting Update Via Email

Symptoms

Business Process (BP) status is not changing when updating via email.

FOR EXAMPLE:

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When clicking "Approve Budget Approval" from email (in this example a Gmail account), the status does not change to Approved.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The status should be updated when approving from the email.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Unifier
  2. On the left top of the screen, find bookmarks
  3. Click on “Budget Approval” to navigate to the project and Budget Approval BP
  4. Create a record and send for Approval
  5. Login to the email account with the given credentials to Approve the record

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot properly approve BPs via email which reduces their efficiency.
