XItem Messages Fail With "DUP_NO_PRIMARY_COUNTRY_ID" Error (Doc ID 2041971.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 14.1.x, XItem messages are failing with the following error:


Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create style items with Process destination as RMS through XItem with status 'A' and country of origin as 'CN' (Primary).
  2. Create a SKU for the style with Process destination as RMS through XItem with status 'A' and country of origin as 'US' (Primary).
  3. See CORESVC_ITEM_ERR.  All the items appear with error DUP_NO_PRIMARY_COUNTRY_ID, and items are in 'W' status.
  4. All items are failing with error, and users are unable to interface any item in Approved status.
