RPM Maintain Promotion Search Results in Fatal Exception (Doc ID 2042230.1)

In Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM), a search performed on the Maintain Promotion screen using only item number results in the following fatal exception: 

Due to this issue, users cannot search for all promotions that are attached to an item.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Promotion> Maintain Promotion.
  2. In the search criteria enter only item ID.
  3. After a long time, error occurs.
