Information in this document applies to any platform.
Exporting a large project to XML from P6 (web) when there is high latency (for example, 70-150ms) between the client (browser) to server (application server) causes the XML export process to fail without any error message generated about the failure.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Login to P6
- Select the Project link
- On the EPS page, select Actions dropdown >Import/Export >XML Project Import/Export
- Complete remaining steps to export a larger project.
- Note the issue which occurs above.
