Details

Microsoft Windows 10 was recently released, along with an updated browser - Microsoft Edge. This document outlines the certification plan of Windows 10 and the Microsoft Edge browser with Oracle Primavera Products (P6 EPPM, P6 PPM, Unifier, Primavera Cloud, P6 Analytics, Gateway, Contract Management, Risk Analysis, Portfolio Management, Contractor).

Refer to the tested configuration documentation on the Oracle Technology Network for confirmation of the certification in addition to the tested operating system edition for your release.

For Primavera P6 EPPM

The follow release versions will be certified with Windows 10:

Windows 10 Operating System
- 15.2.0.0: Certified with initial release, anticipated Fall 2015
- 15.1.5.0: End Of Month August 2015
- 8.4.7.0: End Of Month August 2015
- 8.3.10.0: End Of Month September 2015
- 8.2.7.0: End Of Month September 2015
- 8.1.x-7.0.x: There are no plans for certifying these release versions with Windows 10; Installation on non-certified platforms is done at your own risk. However, basic testing has shown no issues with these release version running on Windows 10.

Browser Compatibility
- Microsoft Edge Browser
  - Microsoft has also announced that the Microsoft Edge browser for Windows 10 will not support Java applets plugins.
  - Certification with Microsoft Edge will be limited to Team Member (web) only. Refer to the above timeframe for release versions that will certify the browser.
- Other Browsers
  - Certification with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome running on Windows 10 will be provided for all web applications of P6 EPPM. Refer to the above timeframe for release versions that will certify the browser.

For Primavera P6 PPM

The follow release versions will be certified with Windows 10:

Windows 10 Operating System
- 15.2.0.0: Certified with initial release, anticipated Fall 2015
- 15.1.5.0: End Of Month August 2015
- 8.4.7.0: End Of Month August 2015
- 8.3.10.0: End Of Month September 2015
- 8.2.7.0: End Of Month September 2015

For Primavera Cloud

The follow release versions will be certified with Windows 10:

- 15.2.0.0: Certified with initial release, anticipated Fall 2015

  - Primavera Cloud will be certified with the Microsoft Edge Browser. Refer to the above timeframe for release versions that will certify the browser.

For Primavera Analytics And Data Warehouse

The follow release versions will be certified with Windows 10:

- 15.2.0.0: Certified with initial release, anticipated Fall 2015

Browser Compatibility
- Primavera Analytics runs with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Refer to OBIEE for certification plans of Microsoft Edge and other browsers running on Windows 10.

For Primavera Gateway

The follow release versions will be certified with Windows 10:

Windows 10 Operating System
- 15.2.0.0: Certified with initial release, anticipated Fall 2015

Browser Compatibility
- Microsoft Edge Browser
  - Gateway will be certified with the Microsoft Edge Browser. Refer to the above timeframe for release versions that will certify the browser.
- Other Browsers
  - Certification with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome running on Windows 10 will be provided for Gateway. Refer to the above timeframe for release versions that will certify the browser.

For Primavera Contract Management

The follow release versions will be certified with Windows 10:

- 14.2.0.0: End Of Month August 2015
