Customer found an issue in populating gender code for subjects in CDM. They reported that If they don't have gender for subjects in HDM, they get the gender as "NAV" in CDM.
They expect that if they don't have gender for subjects in HDM, they should have null in CDM instead of "NAV".
They said that they are missing the condition in the source view to check whether the code id is greater than zero which would eliminate bringing in NAV to CDM.
Below is the snippet from the source view W_EHA_SUBJECT_D_CDM_V
"AND (HDM_IND_PRTY.GNDR_CD_ID=HDM_CD_REPOSITORY_GND.CD_ID (+) AND HDM_CD_REPOSITORY_GND.CURRENT_FLG(+)='Y')"
They believe they should have it as,
"AND (HDM_IND_PRTY.GNDR_CD_ID=HDM_CD_REPOSITORY_GND.CD_ID (+) AND HDM_CD_REPOSITORY_GND.CD_ID (+)>0 AND HDM_CD_REPOSITORY_GND.CURRENT_FLG(+)='Y')"
