Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.0.x, we find that a local PO (Purchase Order) related to a few appointments is not closed after closing all appointments.  We expect that the PO should be closed when all related appointments are closed.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. In RMS, create and approve a PO with 2 items.
  2. Create another PO with one item.
  3. Create the first appointment in Warehouse Management System (WMS) containing one item from the first order and one item from the second order.
    - Navigate to Appointments -> Appointments Schedule -> Create Record (Create with selected options 'PO').
    - In Appointment Detail window select Create Record and contain one item from first order and one item from second order.
  4. Create second appointment in WMS containing the remaining item from the first order.
    - Navigate to Appointments -> Appointments Schedule -> Create Record (Create with selected options 'PO').
    - In Appointment Detail window select Create Record and contain remaining item from first order.
  5. Receive both appointments in the WMS handheld device.
  6. Close first appointment in WMS.  Note that both orders are still open. Status in ORDHEAD table is still 'A' for both orders (correct).
    - Navigate to Appointment -> Appointment Closure -> fill APPT NBR and click Close.
  7. Close the second appointment.
    - Navigate to Appointment -> Appointment Closure -> fill APPT NBR and click Close.
  8. Note that the first order has been closed (status 'C' in ORDHEAD table).  However, the second order is still open (status 'A' in ORDHEAD table and never changes to 'C').
