Transportation Dialogue Does Not Function Correctly in 'New' Mode: Users Unable to Create Transportation Records (Doc ID 2044309.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Trade Management - Version 14.0 to 14.0.3 [Release 14.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Trade Management (RTM), the Transportation dialogue is not functioning correctly in 'new' mode.

The LOV for the order only selects those orders which already have entries in the TRANSPORTATION table. Thus 'new' mode is functioning in the same way as 'edit' mode.  In 'new' mode, the user should be allowed to create transportation records for orders which do not have entries in the TRANSPORTATION table.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create and approve a Purchase Order.
  2. Go to Inventory -> Transportation -> PO-Level.
  3. Maintenance -> New.
  4. Click on the Order No list of values (LOV).
  5. Note that approved POs do not show in the LOV.
