Setting Location ID for SCP ''PRINT_AND_APPLY' to a Length Greater Than 12 Characters Causes a DMS Error During Container Unit Picking (Doc ID 2044731.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Warehouse Management (RWMS) 14.0.2, when setting the location ID for the system control parameter (SCP) 'IN_TRANSIT_LOC','PRINT_AND_APPLY' to a length greater than 12 characters results in the following error message when running the container unit picking process:


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create an in transit location with 20 length characters.
  2. Define that location as in_transit_loc and print_and_apply in SCPs.
  3. Create picking directive of type Unit.
  4. Log into RWMS handheld (HH).
  5. Select option for unit picking.
  6. Select option for container unit picking.
  7. Insert container ID.
  8. Press “F4=Begin”.
