On : 11.1 or later PIP version,

JDE to VCP Issue With Special Characters in Customer.xml

When running Collect Planning Data the following error is returned:


23-JUN 18:46:05 : ODI Scenario : LOADE1LOCASSOCIATIONDATATOAPSPKG FAILED. Session #: 1035003
23-JUN 18:46:05 : Error Message: ODI-1226: Step LocationAssociationsCustInterface fails after 1 attempt(s).
ODI-1240: Flow LocationAssociationsCustInterface fails while performing a Export operation. This flow loads target table MSC_ST_LOCATION_ASSOCIATIONS.
ODI-1228: Task LocationAssociationsCustInterface (Export) fails on the target ORACLE connection ASCPDS.
Caused By: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "MSC"."C$_MSC_ST_LOCATION_ASSOCIATION"."TP_SITE_CODE" (actual: 32, maximum: 30)
