ActorChain Does Not Roll Back a Transaction if an Exception is Thrown from Any Actors (Doc ID 2045281.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 27, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

With the following actor-chain definition, if an exception is thrown from an actor, the transaction is not rolled back and the changes made by the actor may still be committed. The ActorChain that processes all the actors ignores exceptions thrown from the participating actors in the chain. This may potentially lead to data integrity issue with unexpected partial data saved.
