OC5.1.0: Should Automatic Statistics Be Instead Of Provided Scripts? (Doc ID 2045322.1)

Goal

According to the OC 5.1 Installation and the OC 5.1 Admin manuals, there are two scripts (ocstats.sql and opastats.sql) that need to be run to gather stats for the RXC, RXA_LR, RXA_DES, RXA_DISC_REP, OPA, and TMS application accounts required for the Oracle 11g optimizer to be effective and result in better performance of Oracle Clinical and RDC Onsite. Should this be done in place of Automatic Statistics Collection or in addition to it?
