Question on migrating Demantra to new windows server

We have Demantra installed on windows server and deployed on Linux.
We copied/deployed the binaries (Both Collaborator Workbench and Analytical Engine) in Linux servers using Weblogic.
We use Demantra from windows server for Business modeler and to patch or perform any administrative activities.
We are in a need to migrate the windows servers (As the current windows machine is Windows 2003) to new machine (Windows 2012 r2).

Can we re-apply demantra patches? What is the impact of re-applying Dematra patch?
Our current plan is to do a binary only install of 12.2.3 on new windows machine and then re-apply the patches (that we applied so far) . This creates duplicate entries on "version_details_history" table. However is there any impact on re-applying the patches?
