Same Return To Warehouse Can Be Dispatched Multiple Times in SIM (Doc ID 2046335.1)

Symptoms

A dispatched Return To Warehouse (RTW) can be updated multiple times in Store Inventory Management (SIM).

 
Steps to Reproduce:

Case 1

  1. Log in to SIM using any user and any store.
  2. Create a return to warehouse.
  3. Navigate to Shipping/Receiving -> Returns -> Create.
  4. Fill required fields (Warehouse, Item, Default reason code, Qty) and press Done button.
  5. Show details for the created return.
  6. Double click table record with created return.
  7. Wait at detail screen.
  8. Log in to SIM using another machine.
  9. Try to show details for the same return.
  10. Navigate to Shipping/Receiving -> Returns.
  11. Double click the same table record as in point 3.
  12. Do not exit Break Lock Confirmation window.
  13. Go to the first machine and dispatch return from detail screen (point 3).
  14. Press Dispatch button.
  15. Confirm at Dispatch Confirmation window.
  16. Return has been dispatched first time and got "dispatched" status in database.
  17. Go to the second machine and dispatch the same return.
  18. Confirm breaking the lock.
  19. Press Dispatch button.
  20. Confirm at Dispatch Confirmation window.  Notice that nothing happens.
  21. Notice that the return is not dispatched again, but nothing happens. The same window is visible; no message appears.  User can click the same button (Dispatch) many times.

 

Case 2

  1. Log in to SIM using any user and any store.
  2. Create a return to warehouse.
  3. Navigate to Shipping/Receiving -> Returns -> Create.
  4. Fill required fields (Warehouse, Item, Default reason code, Quantity) and press Done button.
  5. Show details for the created return.
  6. Double click table record with created return.
  7. Wait at detail screen.
  8. Log in to SIM using another machine.
  9. Try to show details for the same return.
  10. Navigate to Shipping/Receiving -> Returns.
  11. Double click the same table record as in point 3.
  12. Do not exit Break Lock Confirmation window.
  13. Go to the first machine and dispatch return from detail screen (point 3).
  14. Press Dispatch button.
  15. Confirm at Dispatch Confirmation window.
  16. Return has been dispatched first time and got "dispatched" status in database.
  17. Go to the second machine.
  18. Confirm breaking the lock.
  19. Press Done button.
  20. Notice, Return status is changed from "Dispatched" into "Pending".
