Business Process Records Are Not Being Updated Via Action Email Links (Doc ID 2046496.1)

This document will assist in resolving an issue of when users attempt to forward Business Process (BP) records through the workflow by using 'Approve', 'Reject', 'Return', or other active links in Task Emails, the BP records are not being updated according to the chosen response.

 Cause 1 - Customer viewed Inbound Unifier Email account(s) to check the emails and/or opened the emails.
 Cause 2 - The same Unifier Inbound Account was used for both staging and production.
 Cause 3 - The Unifier background job 'system:collect action emails' is stuck in 'Acquired' state and not running every 5 minutes.

The background job 'system:collect action emails' should run every 5 minutes by default to process any emails sent to the Unifier Inbound Email account. This includes emails sent by users to process Records via 'Response via Email' or emails send to Project/Shell Mailboxes.
