VFS Cache Error Messages During OSM Cartridge Deployment

Symptoms
After deploying the OSM Cartridges on the environment, we are getting the following error in log file while deploying cartridges or refreshing metadata from the OSM Administrator.
org.apache.commons.vfs2.FileSystemException: Could not delete "file:///<DIR>/vfs_cache_<user_name_dir>/<DIR>/1.0.0.0.0/resources".
