Item UPC Is Displaying Instead of SKU ID on the 'Enter Price' and 'Date of Birth' Screens (Doc ID 2049297.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS), the item Universal Product Code (UPC) is displaying instead of Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) on the prompt and response panel of "Enter Price" and "Date of Birth" screens.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enter Price screen:

           a. Log into POS.
           b. Enter item (e.g., 30060006). The screen prompts the user to enter price.
           c. The Item UPC displays in the Enter Price Screen instead of Item SKU.
               e.g., "Item 10000030060006, Assembly. Enter price and then press Next to continue"

       2. Date of Birth screen:

           a. Log into POS.
           b. Enter Item (e.g, 703). The Date of Birth screen prompts the user to enter date of birth.
           c. The Item UPC displays in Date of Birth screen instead of Item SKU.
               e.g., "Item 10000000000703, Razor Arrows. Enter the customer's date of birth and press Next to continue"
