When Accessing P6 Administrator Via Web URL, It Fails With "Not Logged In To Configuration Database. Please Log In" (Doc ID 2051034.1)

Symptoms

On : Primavera P6 Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management - versions 8.3 and later.


When attempting to log into the P6 administrator via the web url, message "NOT LOGGED IN TO CONFIGURATION DATABASE. PLEASE LOG IN
Not Logged In To Configuration Database. Please Log In"  is returned.


Launching the administration applet by browsing to the P6EPPM\P6 location and launching adminpv and logging in as privuser does not result in an error.


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Access P6 administrator URL: http://server:port/p6/admin.jsp
Enter username - LOGIN

Message "NOT LOGGED IN TO CONFIGURATION DATABASE. PLEASE LOG IN
Not Logged In To Configuration Database. Please Log In"  is returned.
