Your System Is Out Of Memory When Importing An XLS File Into P6

When attempting to import updates into Primavera P6 from Microsoft Excel in the P6 Professional Client for EPPM, the following error occurs:

Your system is out of memory. Please close other running appliations and try this operation again.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open a project in P6
2. Import a very large excel file with project updates.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users must split the file into multiple files to get the updates to apply.
