MSS 6.2.1 Equipments

When equipment is built using an EWO it is placed into the regular inventory and is tied to that EWO. if at a later time that equipment is removed from within the EWO the system moves the equipment from the installed inventory to the spare inventory for that 8-bite building location or end-user location.

This is normal functionality for M6 as it supports organizations that use the Spare location for their intended purposes. Some organizations ,however ,do not use the spare locations to track spare equipment so this functionality is causing  unintended consequences such as equipment spec maintenance, and database clutter.

If there is a preference setting added allowing users to set the functionality of EWO equipment removal .So if an organization does not use MSS to track spare equipment, it should be allowed to set the system to delete the equipment.
