MaxMessageSizeExceededException Occurs when Editing a Promotion Component with More Than 50 Items

Symptoms

Retail Price Management (RPM) throws a MaxMessageSizeExceededException error when editing a promotion component with more than 50 items in it.

"weblogic.socket.MaxMessageSizeExceededException: Incoming message of size: '10000080' bytes exceeds the configured maximum of: '10000000' bytes for protocol: 't3'"

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a promotion in RPM (1 simple component and 100 items in the component).
  2. Click Add component.  Choose simple type component and enter description, then click Next.
  3. Add 100 items to the component and a promo zone with about 600 stores in the zone.
  4. Enter 1 dollar amount off and click Apply.
  5. Click Save and Done.
  6. Try to edit the component and the error will appear.
