DGIMG And ROIBND Class Codes, Both Of Which Specialize OBS, Create Acts With OBS Class Code (Doc ID 2058184.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Healthcare Data Repository - Version 7.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Trying to persist a CCD with a dicom section.
The dicom section contains Acts with class codes DGIMG (diagnostic image) and ROIBND (Bounded Region Of Interest).

After invoking ITI-41 with import mode set to true when looking at the database the acts that have been created both have the class code as OBS.
When writing own RIM Query need to use OBS as the query criteria and cannot use the specialized class codes DGIMG and ROIBND as the query criteria since HDR has lost that piece of information by storing OBS instead of its specialization in the database.
