In Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS), while performing an inventory inquiry while the system is in offline mode, ORPOS freezes when querying large data sets.
Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisite: The item tables contain more than ~80,000 records (sample shown):
1. Stop the store server so that the client is in offline mode.
2. From the main screen, choose F9/Inventory Inquiry.
3. On the Item Description, enter ' * '.
4. Press Enter/Next.
5. Notice that POS hangs indefinitely.
