Long Time Lag Before Control is Passed to Next Field After Selecting a Value from EL Characteristic

Symptoms
On Customer environment on UIM 7.2.5.2,
It takes 22 seconds to store/add in a field the value selected value from the list of an EL Characteristic Drop-down.
1) User opens Creation screen of a Premise Specification of Location Place Type.
2) User clicks inside the search box of Char field (an Entity Link Characteristic field with reference to another Location Place Type Specification: <SpecName>)
3) User types in "AAA" and a value appears in the filtered list in around 1 seconds (very fast)
4) User selects the value. Until the value is selected and stored in the field it takes 22 seconds.
And then user allowed to go to another field.
