Unable to Search the Transfer by Item if Thai Characters in ITEM_DESC

Unable to search the transfer by Item, if Thai characters are in ITEM_DESC.

Steps for the scenario:

1) Create a Return in SIM, which will create a TRANSFER in the RMS as per the base functionality. The Item_desc should have Thai characters.
2) Select an item value from the Transfer table (TSFDETAIL).
3) Enter the item value in the TSFFIND form and click the search button.  A Warning message 'No records match the search criteria'  is noticed.
