Last updated on MARCH 11, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Services Gatekeeper - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The purpose of this comment is to formalize the cleanup procedure of old OCSG 5.1 version after successful upgrade to 6.0.

Two questions will be answered in this document:

Q[1]: What are the cleanup tasks to be performed after successful upgrade of OCSG 5.1 to OCSG 6.0 (for OCSG5.1 which will be no longer required)?

Q[2]: After upgrading the OCSG from 5.1 to 6.0, is there any way that Domain directory can be migrated under 6.0 middleware?

Reference from documentation "Oracle® Communications Services Gatekeeper Multi-tier Installation Guide Release 6.0 - Cap.11 Upgrading Services Gatekeeper":

1. It is mandatory that the location of the old Services Gatekeeper installation and the location of the new Services Gatekeeper installation must be in two different directories;

2. During the upgrade it is not recommended to install a new Domain.
