Performance Issue with RMS ORDPRG (Order Purge) Program (Doc ID 2060659.1)

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release. 
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, users are experiencing performance issues with the Order Purge (ORDPRG) batch. 
The process is taking more than 16 hours to complete, when the dataset is expected to take only 30 to 40 minutes.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Run ORDPRG program.
  2. Note the timing and capture tracefile data as outlined in <Document 1984352.1>.  (In the reported case, the batch executed for over 16 hours.)
