For Bill Segments generated for Recurring Billable Charges with Line Sequence, the Bill Segment Calc Header Date and Bill Segment Date do not align.

Generated list should be based on the dates selected for the bill segment period.

By definition, the start and end date on the bill segment header is the portion of the bill segment period where the calculation details apply. A bill segment will always have at least one bill segment header (in which case the dates on the header is aligned with the bill segment period), but potentially can have more if there is more than one effective rate versions for the bill segment period, i.e. bill segment is for 01/01/2015 – 01/31/2015, but there is a effective rate version change 01/15/2015, which can lead to the generation of two bill segment headers for the bill segment, one for 01/01/2015 – 01/14/2015 and the other for 01/15/2015 – 01/31/2015. Bottom line though, the expectation is that the dates of the bill segment header should always be within the bill segment period. The issue here shows a bill segment header with dates that cover more than the bill segment period – this is against the basic definition of a bill segment header.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a Recurring Billable Charge with Line Sequence.
2. Bill is generated which includes the bill segment for the recurring billable charge.
3. Bill segment and Bill Segment Header shows non-matching dates (e.g., Bill segment shows start date 05-01-2015 – 05-31-2015, but Bill Segment Header shows start date 05-01-2015 – 06-30-2015).

Please find attached the replication steps and corresponding log file.

Due to this issue, users are not findings the generated list correct based on the selected dates. It should be clear of any confusion.
