Unable To Install BRM 7.5 Maintenance Patch Set 1 (MPS1) (Doc ID 2061380.1)

Goal

On BRM 7.5, while upgrading from previous patch Sets ( e.g: PS9, PS10, PS11, PS12) to Maintenance Patch Set 1 ( MPS1), installation of MPS1 PortalBase_Upgrade package is failing with following error:

Note:  Installation of  7.5MPS1_21513185_Portal_Base_<platform>_32_opt.bin package works fine. Above error occurs for installation of 7.5MPS1_PortalBase_Upgrade_75_75PS_<platform>_32_opt.bin package only.

Is this a known issue? If yes, is there any workaround?
