Lighttpd Fails to Start With "Cannot load module" Error (Doc ID 2061407.1)

Symptoms

On: NMS (Network Management Systems) version 1.12.0.2.0 through 1.12.0.2.7.

This is specific to implementations on AIX


On an AIX server running NMS version 1.12.0.2.2, lighttpd fails to start with the following error:

nms/prdmadm/nms/product/1.12.0.2/bin/nms-lighttpd start - parameters: start

Using port 8101 from ces_parameters WEB_mapHttpdPort
Using default host 0.0.0.0

Starting lighttpd with /nms/prdmadm/etc/lighttpd.conf config file - port=8101
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /nms/prdmadm/nms/product/1.12.0.2/3rdparty/lighttpd/sbin/lighttpd because of the following errors:
  0509-022 Cannot load module /nms/prdmadm/nms/product/1.12.0.2/3rdparty/lighttpd/lib/liblightcomp.a(liblightcomp.so).
  0509-150 Dependent module libgcc_s.a(shr.o) could not be loaded.
  0509-022 Cannot load module libgcc_s.a(shr.o).
  0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.
  0509-022 Cannot load module lighttpd.
  0509-150 Dependent module /nms/prdmadm/nms/product/1.12.0.2/3rdparty/lighttpd/lib/liblightcomp.a(liblightcomp.so) could not be loaded.
  0509-022 Cannot load module .
lighttpd did not appear to start in 2 seconds
