Last updated on AUGUST 29, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 5.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We are using Messaging Server in two Solaris zones: a front-end zone and a back-end zone. The front-end zone is also running the LDAP Proxy server. The backend-zone is also running the LDAP server.

The Solaris OS team said, "From OS point of view, there is no dependency between the zones."

In order to shutdown the whole system (global zone), which zone should I shutdown first before shutting the the whole system down.
