HDR: Persisting GTS String in HDR Database should be Consistent for all Data Types (Doc ID 2061524.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Healthcare Data Repository - Version 7.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

DataTypeFactory.newGTS function is not consistent with the special character ;]Use a simple Document with the function DataTypeFactory.newGTS to create a GTS including the string "[20070314183522"

The value being persisted in the DB is [20070314183522;[ Based on this would want to assume that whenever query for GTS sting can be assured of getting back ;[

It’s also possible to persist "[20070314183522/(8 h)" and [20070314183522;/(8 h)

The above 2 formats should be rejected since they do not have the trailing ;] or at least the trailing ;] should be added by HDR so that all the GTS string in the HDR database are consistent in that approach.

That means the above 2 formats should be stored as [20070314183522;[/(8 h)
